Personas investigation revealed their clients were mostly middle aged pet owners who lived in a high-income neighborhood. Old customers generally had high satisfaction with the veterinary service and had built personal connections with the vet and nurses here. New customers included pet owners recently changed pet hospital or just moved into the area and were looking for engaging and educational contents. So to further build on the relationship with old customers and to engage new customers, I designed the website to show warm hospitality, published downloadable animal health guides and video records of common procedures, and listed the voluntary services provided to local shelters. Functionality and efficiency are other important perspectives for a hospital website. So I incorporated downloadable forms for clients to fill when making appointment. The submitted forms were further linked to the hospital administration calendar.
To manage client flow, I built separate web pages for new pet owners and existing clients. For the new pet owners, we tried to enhance engagement by providing CTA such as discount for newly adopted pets, testimonies of new pet owner, care guide for kitten & puppy, credentials of vets and registration forms. For the existing clients’ page, to enhance care and sales, we provided functions such as in house care guides, post operative instructions, online pharmacy and referral discount.
